„This is about simple pieces for the piano which are very popular among my scholars. First of all, as an exercise they gear to the tones placed on the staves (“Simple melody”, “Little song”) to then increasingly attain musical independence ("Improvisation i + II"). Sounds complicated, but it is not as long as you mediate to the scholar the connection between third leaps – starting with c’- and the staves. Hereafter, I am going to publish how this works in a playful way. First of all, I understand this method as a supplement to a conventional way of learning notes. But I already have successfully applied it to a few scholars during their first steps. The mnemonic rhyme “Go deep – fly high” for the deepest (G) and the highest (f) tone of the entire notation system has often done a magnificent service.” |
